Information this Site Gathers and Tracks
The information gathered by Ani.ME falls into two categories: (1) information voluntarily supplied by visitors to our websites when they register or initiate activity, and (2) tracking information gathered as visitors navigate through our sites.

To help make our sites more responsive to the needs of our visitors, help you navigate between sections, tailor content to your needs and to measure traffic within our sites, our web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer's connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our sites. They also invoke a standard feature of browser software, called a "cookie", to assign each visitor a unique, random number, a sort of user ID, which resides on your computer. The cookie helps give us an idea of which parts of our site users are visiting and doesn't actually identify the visitor, just the computer that a visitor uses to access our site.

Ani.ME may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website and services. For instance, Ani.ME may monitor the most popular games as rated by users and user activity. Ani.ME may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Ani.ME does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described in this Privacy Policy.

Links to Other Sites
This site may contain links to other sites. The establishment of a link is from an endorsed website reviewed by Ani.ME but due to the changing face of online content and other unforeseeable events the content of these links may become altered and Ani.ME does not claim to maintain current reviews of these sites. Ani.ME is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of linked Web sites.

Third Party Features
Certain features of and portions on our site are also the result of special relationships, such as "Powered By" or Co-Branding or affiliate programs. These firms share varying amounts of information with us. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of such providers before providing information to them.

Security
This site has numerous security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The measures include passwords, linkages to secure servers, encryption, backup tapes, and conventional locks and alarm systems. However we cannot guarantee that the measures in place have been, are now, or will remain adequate.

Industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption is always used to protect your purchase information while in transit. Stored credit card information is always encrypted and maintained in an environment that has been certified as PCI DSS compliant by a qualified security assessor. Ani.Me is constantly scanned and validated to verify application and network security. All internal security standards, policies and practices are frequently reviewed and improved based on the current industry security practices.

When you go to Login or Check Out pages on the Ani.Me, you will notice the closed lock icon at the top or bottom of your browser or the “HTTPS://” prefix in the URL. This means you have established a secure SSL connection and that all data transmitted through this connection will be encrypted. If you are receiving SSL Certificate errors when accessing Ani.Me, that means that the domain name in the SSL certificate does not match the address that is in the address bar of the browser. Alternatively, it may mean that your browser is misconfigured and does not accept the root certificate used by Ani.Me. Please contact privacy@ani.me if you encounter this error.

Personal and Financial Information Collected by Ani.Me
Throughout our websites there are forms that request information from you and/or allow you to purchase products and services. These forms typically ask for contact information (such as name, mailing address and email address), membership, login and password information and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and verification code) required to process your order and ship products to you. The provision of such information by you is entirely voluntary. If you elect or opt in to receive information from us, we will ask for a valid email address and telephone number so we can inform you of other products or services available or to contact you about your opinion of current products and services or potential new products and services that may be offered. You may opt out of receiving future mailings from Ani.Me by following the procedures detailed in the Choice/Opt Out section located below, on forms located on our website or in emails you receive from us. You may also request that we delete any personal information from our customer databases at any time by contacting Ani.Me. In certain cases, Ani.Me, may forward purchasing and shipping information to vendors who ship products or provide services directly to consumers. Such third party vendors and suppliers are not bound by this privacy policy.

Children's Guidelines
Until we can adequately provide the correct features that enable COPPA compliance, this Web site will be directed at adults, not children, and we do not seek to collect from children online contact information, or distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information from children, etc. We won't knowingly allow anyone under 13 to register with any of our sites or to provide any other personally identifying information without written approval of a parent or guardian. We do plan to provide full COPPA compliance in the near future.

Choice/Opt-Out
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and sites associated with us at the point where we request information about the visitor. This site gives users various options to discontinue to receive future communications from us. For example, our Newsletters have linkages or return addresses for recipients to direct that they unsubscribe.

Revisions / Corrections / Updates
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy from time to time. If we do change our privacy policy in the future, we'll post the changes when they take effect.
